CLAPA and Contoocook Lake lost a good friend when Frank Battaglia passed away unexpectedly in the Fall of 2024. Frank had served as CLAPA’s president for 5 years, until he stepped down in Summer 2024. Frank continued to work as the point person for CLAPA’s milfoil mitigation efforts until the time of his death. In gratitude and in Frank’s honor, CLAPA installed a bench on Blueberry Island, a favorite stopping place for Frank while boating around the lake with friends and family. Thank you Frank.
